Volunteers are a vital part of making WordCamps great. As volunteers, you’ll be helping to make our event run as smoothly as possible, ensuring that a great time is had by all. It’s also a great way to get more involved with the WordPress community!

- Not difficult until you enjoy it.
- As a volunteer at WordCamp Kathmandu, you will:

- Have the opportunity to meet elite coders and WordPress enthusiasts in Nepal
- Be an essential part of the event

- Great way to make new contacts and meet other like-minded people

- What Do We Need Help With?
- We need people to help out beforehand and on the weekend. Each one of you is assigned a task either personally or in a team of two. We’ll try and give you a task that suits you and we’ll make sure everybody can actually enjoy the WordCamp as well: you won’t be parked at the door all day. Tasks that you may find yourself doing include:
- Processing registration
- Keeping session in time
- Putting swags together
- Helping out at lunch time
- Preparing speakers of upcoming session
- Helping speakers and attendees
- Helping around with microphones during Q&A sessions
- Moving people around
- General administration

In the mean time, don’t buy your ticket yet. If you’re selected as a WordCamp volunteer, you will get one free ticket. We also make sure that if you’re not selected, we foresee enough spare tickets that you can buy.
