1.Highlights of the event
WordCamp Kathmandu 2019 has many surprises this time. Unlike previous years where sessions used to be focused only on use of WordPress in regards to plugins, themes development and customization work, this time, we are introducing Gutenberg session and lab for the first time. i. Your First Gutenberg Block session by Yoav Farhi :Yoav Farhi, an International Speaker with more than 10 years of experience, is going to deliver separate session on the basics of Gutenberg block creation. From this, one can learn how blocks can improve workflows for them and their customers. This is a trending topic and can be quite beneficial for anyone associated with WordPress.
ii.Gutenberg lab: There will be a separate lab allocated for Gutenberg workshop where attendees will be building the post layouts using the new editor for WordPress, namely Gutenberg. The workshop will be conducted in two rounds with 20 participants in each round. Each session will be of one hour. The main focus in the session will be about content creation using blocks. Furthermore, it also provides overview about how to use the new block based editor.
