Speaker help, Mike Runners, Social Media handlers and other volunteers within the Hall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Timekeeper<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Your responsibility is to start and end the sessions, talks on time.<\/li>\n<li>Show time card to speakers for their remaining time during the session.<\/li>\n<li>You have to help the speakers stay on proper time track.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Door guard<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>You have to warmly welcome people into the halls before the session starts.<\/li>\n<li>Make halls peaceful by maintaining silence when people entering or exiting the halls during the talks.<\/li>\n<li>You will get good chances to see the sessions when you\u2019re guarding the door.<\/li>\n<li>During the Q&amp;A\u2019s\u00a0you have to help microphones runners at backside of halls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Tech help<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Your role is to connect with Audio &amp; Video Wrangler.<\/li>\n<li>Your job is to make sure that session doesn\u2019t go wrong with any technical difficulties.<\/li>\n<li>You should have technical knowledge to resolve the issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Microphone Runners<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Its super easy job but should be speedy person resolving last minute issues.<\/li>\n<li>You have to assist the Hall lead with things that might be needed in the hall.<\/li>\n<li>Main role is to run microphones during the Q&amp;A\u2019s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Social Media handlers<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>You are responsible to write posts and share pictures during the sessions<\/li>\n<li>You will have to post directly on the WCKTM2019 social media accounts.<\/li>\n<li>You should interact and response to the people who are commenting on posts.<\/li>\n<li>you have to be fast and accurate due to the time constraint.<\/li>\n<li>You need to support attendees if they ask for help using social media.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Media &amp; Communication Support<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Your role is very important during the whole event.<\/li>\n<li>You have to communicate with the Photography\/video team.<\/li>\n<li>You have to make sure that all photos\/videos are captured as per needed.<\/li>\n<li>You need to find and share news during the event.<\/li>\n<li>You have to prepare and set up interviews with speakers, attendees and more.<\/li>\n<li>You make sure all Media supporters and Media partners get updates during the conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Gutenberg Lab Room Assistant<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Directly co-ordinate with Gutenberg Session Lead<\/li>\n<li>You have to be technically sound with Gutenberg.<\/li>\n<li>Help attendees to get the expected results<\/li>\n<li>Overview progress<\/li>\n<li>At the end of the session, select one of the best layout built by the attendees to award the winner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>WP Beginners Lab Room Assistant<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Directly co-ordinate with WP Beginners Session Lead<\/li>\n<li>You have to be potentially good with all about WP.<\/li>\n<li>Help attendees to get the expected results<\/li>\n<li>Overview progress<\/li>\n<li>At the end of the session, select one of the best layout built by the attendees to award the winner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Workshop Assistant<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Directly co-ordinate with Workshop Session leads.<\/li>\n<li>You have to create friendly environment for Workshop leads during their workshop.<\/li>\n<li>Attendees need an approval sign from Happiness Bar manager to get in a workshop and it\u2019s your job to verify those.<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s your role to make sure nobody is a disturbance during a workshop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Happiness Bar Manager<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>You are leader of Happiness bar.<\/li>\n<li>You should be comfortable helping people with all kinds of WordPress related Q&amp;A\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>You have to be friendly there.<\/li>\n<li>You have to keep inviting face that makes people feel comfortable asking all the questions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Happiness Bar Techinal Assistant<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>This is totally technical role.<\/li>\n<li>You have to co-ordinate with Gutenberg Lab Room Assistant, WP Beginners Lab Room Assistant and Workshop Assistant together.<\/li>\n<li>When Attendees are applied for Workshop and Lab, then you have to verify following amenities along with them.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>For Gutenberg Lab<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Laptops and adapters<\/li>\n<li>XAMPP\/WAMP\/MAMP or any other local development server installed https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/core\/handbook\/tutorials\/installing-a-local-server\/xampp\/ .<\/li>\n<li>Latest WordPress setup (https:\/\/wordpress.org\/download\/) with twenty-nineteen theme installed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>WP Beginners Lab<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Laptops and adapters<\/li>\n<li>XAMPP\/WAMP\/MAMP or any other local development server installed https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/core\/handbook\/tutorials\/installing-a-local-server\/xampp\/ .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>React Workshop<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Laptops and adapters<\/li>\n<li>XAMPP\/WAMP\/MAMP or any other local development server installed https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/core\/handbook\/tutorials\/installing-a-local-server\/xampp\/<\/li>\n<li>Latest WordPress setup (https:\/\/wordpress.org\/download\/) with twenty-nineteen theme installed.<\/li>\n<li>Add some dummy post in backend or import Theme test file as instructed here.<\/li>\n<li>Node installed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Registration &amp; Swag Station Manager<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Set up the Registration &amp; swag table.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and make sure all stuff are in good order.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with Swag Station lead, Finance and Print Wrangler<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the swag area and make sure everything is fine.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that enough volunteers are present at swag station.<\/li>\n<li>Create a system to hand out T-shirts and check who got one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Swag Station Assistant<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with Swag Stations Manager and other volunteers<\/li>\n<li>Help Attendees to get the swag quickly.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure all stations are peaceful<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>After Party Entrance Manager<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Welcome people to the after-party and check their badges.<\/li>\n<li>You have to get people into the venue in a quick and organized way.<\/li>\n<li>You set the mood for the team to get people excited to enter the party-location.<\/li>\n<li>You make sure to keep out unwanted guests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hall LEAD You are the main team leader to the allocated hall.
