Contributor day is a one day networking and learning event where you work together with other new and seasoned WordPress project contributors to make WordPress a better, easier and accessible tool to use for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a great opportunity for new contributors to network with fellow contributors and learn how to contribute to various projects of WordPress and give back to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#WCKTM Contributor Day<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

WordCamp Kathmandu 2023 is happening on September 8th & 9th, 2023, at Alice Receptions, Gairidhara, Kathmandu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Contributor Day at the event will be on September 8th, where anyone interested in contributing to WordPress could attend to contribute to WordPress or learn how to start contributing to WordPress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why and How?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

WordPress is an open-source project, which means it relies on contributions from a diverse community to grow and improve<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without contribution from contributors you and we would not have been able to build and access the web freely and make an impact to the lives of millions of developers, designers, thinkers and businesses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To start Contributing to WordPress you can get involved with one of the projects at https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/<\/a>. Not sure how or where to get started? Not to worry! We have got you covered and we will guide you on how to get started with different WordPress projects and team on the Contributor day. You can register to WordCamp Nepal 2023 by clicking on the “Tickets” at the top menu and attend the Contributor day to get started!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisite \/ Preparation?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While it’s not mandatory, it’s advised that you get familiar with at least one of the projects on https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/<\/a> before attending the Contributor Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event itself will provide various sessions where you can learn and share ideas with experts from different teams. You can visit any of these tables to gain more knowledge and guidance or to share your ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
