We are delighted to announce that WordCamp Kathmandu 2026 is officially happening on September 18 and 19, 2026, at Alice Receptions, Gairidhara, Kathmandu.
Continuing the tradition of bringing the WordPress community together, WordCamp Kathmandu 2026 will once again serve as a platform for learning, contribution, collaboration, and meaningful connections. The event will welcome WordPress users, developers, designers, bloggers, content creators, business owners, students, agencies, contributors, and community members from Nepal and beyond.
This year’s event will include Contributors Day on September 18 and Conference Day on September 19.
Day 1: Contributors Day

Venue: Alice Receptions, Gairidhara, Kathmandu
Contributors Day is dedicated to giving back to the WordPress open-source project. It is an opportunity for community members to come together, learn about different areas of contribution, and actively participate in making WordPress better.
Whether you are interested in development, design, translation, documentation, support, testing, community, marketing, or any other contribution area, Contributors Day provides a welcoming space to get involved. New contributors will also have the chance to learn from experienced community members and understand how they can start contributing to WordPress.
It is a day focused on collaboration, mentorship, and strengthening the spirit of open-source contribution.
Day 2: Conference Day

Venue: Alice Receptions, Gairidhara, Kathmandu
Conference Day will feature a full day of sessions, discussions, networking, and community interaction around WordPress and the open web.
Attendees can look forward to insightful talks, practical learning, inspiring stories, and opportunities to connect with professionals, contributors, entrepreneurs, product builders, agencies, students, and WordPress enthusiasts. The sessions will cover topics related to WordPress, web development, design, content, business, community, and the wider digital ecosystem.
Conference Day is designed to bring people together to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and celebrate the impact of WordPress in Nepal and across the global community.
