Every application told us something about why WordPress and this community mattered to the person writing it.

After going through them carefully, we are happy to share the two people we have selected.

Meet Our Scholarship Winners

Bindu Paudel

Bindu Paudel is a recent Computer Engineering graduate and currently works as a Security Research Analyst at SecurityPal.

Beyond security, Bindu enjoys reading, designing, and exploring unexpected rabbit holes that often begin with a simple curiosity. Nepali novels about the Maoist movement and the works of B.P. Koirala are among the books she rarely skips, with a particular interest in politics, history, and complex human stories.

In her free time, Bindu enjoys meaningful conversations, discovering new ideas, and occasionally doing absolutely nothing with remarkable dedication. Naturally curious and happily a little chaotic, she is still figuring out what she wants to be when she grows up.

Aaron Shrestha

Aaron Shrestha is a tech enthusiast and aspiring AI researcher with an intermediate technical background and a growing interest in AI and robotics.

Since high school, Aaron has been building skills in web development and design while learning tools such as WordPress, Figma, Canva, and various programming languages. He enjoys creating visually appealing and accessible web experiences and is interested in how technology can better serve communities.

Recently, he contributed to collaborative research with guidance from the National Policy Forum (NPF), auditing the accessibility and design of local government websites.
