About WordCamp Kathmandu

September 18 –19, 2026  |  Kathmandu, Nepal  |  Alice Receptions

Where Ancient Culture Meets Open Source

WordCamp Kathmandu is the premier annual gathering of the WordPress community in Nepal. Set against the backdrop of the Himalayas and the ancient city of Kathmandu. We bring together developers, designers, bloggers, and business owners who love everything WordPress.

Two days of sessions, workshops and networking — plus Contributor Day to give back to WordPress.

Contributor Day

Day One is for giving back. Join new and seasoned contributors as we translate, write documentation, fix bugs, test releases, and improve WordPress together. WordPress is built by people like you and the contributor table is where most of them began.

Conference Day

Day Two is when the community gathers. Expert-led talks, hands-on workshops, and conversations that move from the stage into the hallway. Whether you’re here to learn, to network, or to find out what’s next for WordPress this is where it happens.
