Chandan Goopta is a distinguished AI leader and educator based in Nepal, recognized for his contributions to advancing artificial intelligence education, innovation, and industry adoption across the region.
He currently serves as Executive Director of the BRAIN Foundation, where he leads initiatives focused on fostering AI research, capacity building, and technology-driven social impact.
At Growcept, he holds the position of Chief AI Officer and Trainer, guiding the organization’s AI strategy while also mentoring individuals and teams to build practical, industry-relevant AI skills.
Chandan also serves as the Program Director of the National AI Olympiad of Nepal, a flagship initiative aimed at nurturing young talent, promoting AI literacy among students, and building a strong pipeline of future AI innovators in the country.
