Happiness Bar as the name says it’s a place where you will find happiness. 

No, you won’t get drinks and refreshers there 😉 

It’s a desk at WordCamp where you’ll get answers to any WordPress-related queries and questions from experts. At Happiness Bar, you can interact with WordPress experts one-to-one and get solutions to your problems.

After attending speakers’ sessions, you might have some questions you were uncomfortable asking them during the session or didn’t get a chance to ask due to time limitations. In that case, you can meet our speakers at the Happiness Bar, and ask them. All the speakers will be headed to Happiness Bar after their session and will be available there for a while to address your questions.

Workshop on creating a Custom Gutenberg Block in WordPress

What is a Gutenberg Custom Block? Why should one attend this session?

Gutenberg is a codename of a new set of website-building tools. Block Editor allows adding Blocks and Gutenberg blocks are layout building units on the Block Editor.

Although the WordPress block editor (“Gutenberg”) provides plenty of built-in blocks, it might come with some limitations or it might on exactly fit your requirement. This is where creating a custom element can be useful. You can bring your creative visions to life by creating a custom Gutenberg Block in WordPress.

In this session, you’ll learn how to create custom blocks, inner blocks, dynamic blocks, and more. It includes all the development processes.

  • Consider bringing your own laptops and charger.

Workshop on developing a Full Site Editing (FSE) theme for WordPress

At WordCamp Kathmandu 2022, we are going to have an insightful workshop on developing a Full Site Editing (FSE) theme for WordPress. If you are a WordPress developer and are curious about creating FSE themes, this is the right place.

What is Full Site Editing? Why should one attend this workshop?

Full site editing is a set of features that allows users to style/customize the whole website using blocks.

This session will go through the interconnected parts of WordPress’s full site editing (FSE) and how they may help you develop outstanding site designs without having to write any code. The session will also cover how to develop a simple block theme from scratch.

Notice Regarding PAN/VAT Bills

Please note that we won’t be issuing PAN bills. WordCamps are casual community events. It is run by local volunteers and the ticket prices you pay are not for generating profits. Instead, the surplus amounts are used for the next WordCamp, Meetups, and WordPress Events in the country. That means, the volunteers and the organizers don’t receive any remuneration.
WordCamps are not run by a private company and therefore the PAN is not registered for WordCamp Kathmandu.
