Contributor day is the second day of WordCamp Kathmandu 2022 which is going to be held on the 4th of September, Sunday, at Alice Receptions, Gairidhara, Kathmandu.
Contributor day is a special day dedicated for giving back to WordPress.
WordPress powers more than 43% of all websites on the internet. This open-source platform has become so popular and powerful because of its active community members’ contribution to make it better every day. Thousands of contributors from all around the world, mostly voluntarily contribute to WordPress.

Contributor day is for everyone. There is no specific experience level or skill set required to become a contributor. Even if you are an absolute beginner with no technical background, you can help. All you need to have is a learning attitude, and some of your time to contribute.
Both seasoned contributors and beginners are welcomed and valued. For those who are thinking of taking the first step to getting involved in WordPress, Contributor’s day is a great place. You’ll get an opportunity to collaborate with new and existing contributors, and learn how to contribute.
There are different segments for WordPress where you can contribute. There will be a team focused on each segment and you can choose which team you want to join and work with.
