Call for Media Partners – WordCamp Kathmandu 2026

We are happy to announce that WordCamp Kathmandu 2026 is taking place on 18 and 19 September 2026 at Alice Receptions, Gairidhara, Kathmandu. For two days, the WordPress community will come together to learn, share, and connect, including developers, designers, content creators, marketers, freelancers, agencies, educators, and students from Nepal and beyond.

As the Media and Marketing team, we are now opening our Call for Media Partners. If you are a media outlet or content creator who cares about technology, startups, digital culture, and the open web, this invitation is for you.

Why partner with WordCamp Kathmandu?

WordPress powers a large share of websites around the world and remains one of the most important platforms for publishing on the internet. WordCamps are community events that happen across many countries, connecting local WordPress users with a global network of contributors, professionals, and enthusiasts.

  • Before the event: Share at least one announcement or feature about WordCamp Kathmandu 2026, and help promote key dates like tickets, schedule, and venue.
  • During the event: Cover the conference with posts, stories, short videos, vlogs, or interviews, and tag our official channels so we can see and reshare your content.
  • After the event: Publish a recap in your own format, such as an article, video, podcast, or photo story, highlighting your experience and key takeaways.
  • Branding: Use the official WordCamp Kathmandu 2026 logo, banners, and flex designs that we provide in your coverage where it fits, following simple brand usage guidelines.
