WordCamp is not just about talks and workshops.
For a lot of people, it is also where the next opportunity starts, a conversation with someone hiring, a project lead, or a chance to meet the people behind a company you have been wanting to work with.
That is exactly what the Job Board at WordCamp Kathmandu 2026 is here for.
What is the Job Board?
The Job Board is a dedicated space at the venue where companies, agencies, and individuals can post open roles, freelance projects, or collaboration opportunities within the WordPress space. Think of it as a physical notice board, but built specifically for this community, developers, designers, writers, marketers, and anyone else working with WordPress.
If you are job hunting, freelancing, or just curious about what kind of roles are out there in the Nepali WordPress ecosystem right now, this is where you check first.
Who Can Post on the Job Board?
If you are hiring, whether you run an agency, a startup, or you just need help with a WordPress project, you are welcome to put up a listing. This includes full time roles, part time work, internships, or even short term freelance gigs.
You do not need to be a big company to post here. Small teams and individual founders looking for the right person are just as welcome as established agencies.
Who Should Check It Out?
If you are actively looking for a job or internship in web development, design, content, or anything WordPress related, this board is worth your time.
If you are a student trying to get your first break into the industry, this is often a more direct path than applying online, since you can walk up, ask questions, and sometimes even meet the person hiring in person.
If you are a freelancer looking for your next project, or simply curious about what companies are active in the community right now, it is worth a look even if you are not actively searching.
How It Works
Write up your listing on a sticky note or a small note card, things like the role, whether it is urgent hiring, and how to reach you. A deadline is optional, add one if you have it, skip it if you do not. Pin it up on the board at the venue using the pins provided.
If you are looking for work, feel free to check the board throughout both days, September 18th and 19th, since new notes can go up anytime during the event.
Why It Matters
A lot of hiring in the WordPress space happens through community connections rather than job portals, people already know your work, or they meet you somewhere like this and remember the conversation later. The Job Board is a small, low pressure way to put yourself out there, or find someone great, without needing a formal interview process to get the conversation started.
If you have a listing to post or you are looking for one, stop by the board anytime during WordCamp Kathmandu 2026 at Alice Receptions, Gairidhara.
See you there.
