On September 19, Conference Day will bring speakers from Nepal and beyond to the stage at Alice Receptions. They’ll share ideas, experiences, and practical lessons across AI, development, design, business, marketing, education, and open source.
There’s more than just talks. You can join hands-on workshops, listen to discussions, and explore topics that may be outside your usual area of work.
The Main Hall will host the talks and panel discussion. The Workshop Hall will have hands-on sessions where you can learn and explore new tools and ideas.

Abhishek Adhikari
Workshop: Prompt Smarter, Not Harder
Abhishek Adhikari is an Agritech entrepreneur, AI practitioner, open-source contributor, and community builder from Nepal. As the co-founder of Himalaya Krishi and DEV Community Nepal, he works at the intersection of agriculture, artificial intelligence, and digital innovation.
In his workshop, he will share practical techniques for getting better results from AI tools through smarter prompting.

Madan Panthi
Workshop: Run AI, Not Bills: Local LLMs for Developers
Madan Panthi is a full-time developer who has worked with WordPress and Laravel for the past 10 years, having started his professional career in 2015 as a PHP developer. His workshop will explore local LLMs as a cost-effective option for developers who want to run AI models without relying entirely on paid cloud services.

Jagatjyoti Gyanendra Tuladhar
Workshop: Let’s Make AI Agents Run Our Online Ecommerce Business
Working as a software engineer, Jagatjyoti Gyanendra Tuladhar spends much of the time experimenting with new technologies to solve real-world problems, with a growing focus on AI and blockchain.
His workshop will explore how AI agents can handle different day-to-day tasks involved in running an online store.

Plan Your WordCamp Kathmandu Experience
WordCamp Kathmandu 2026 runs across two days, each with its own focus:
Day 1 – Contributor Day (Sep 18): A hands-on day for giving back to WordPress itself; translating, writing documentation, fixing bugs, testing releases, and improving accessibility, organized around contributor tables led by experienced volunteers.
Day 2 – Conference Day (Sep 19): The main stage, packed with the talks, the AI panel, and workshops listed above, running alongside networking breaks and hallway conversations that are just as much a part of the WordCamp experience.
Sessions on Conference Day are loosely grouped around a few themes that show up again and again in the lineup: AI in business and development, engineering and scale, and community, education, and growth, so whether you’re a developer, a designer, or a business owner, there’s a thread worth following.
