Suvash Khadka, WordPress Enthusiast has been engaged in WordPress Nepal Community since its establishment from 2011/12 to present date. He is the Coordinator of WordPress Nepal Community who has been actively supporting WordPress communities via different activities, few to include are WordPress Meetup, WordPress College/University Events, WordCamps. He has played various organizers role in WordCamps continously without a break in WordCamps as WordCamp Kathmandu, Bharatpur and so forth. Likewise he has been WordPress Meetup Lead several times. He is also an initator who believes in giving back to the community via WordPress. Mr. Khadka is also engaged with WordPress communties as WordPress Bristol, WP London.

Mr. Khadka is also renowned faced in ICT sector in Nepal who has been awarded by Government of Nepal for his initiatives. He’s worked as an expert, senior consultant, members of various committees in Ministry of Communiction and Information Technology, Nepal Telecommunications Authority, Department of IT, NITC. He is serving as a High Level Steering Committee Member for Cyber Security Byelaw in NTA. He is leading ICT industry of Nepal, as a CEO of largest internet industry alliance namely ISPAN. Similarly, industry alliance of Nepal- FNCCI ICT Development Committee member. Likewise, CAN Federation, Board Member, Chairman of CyberSecurity, Cyber Law & Regulation Committee. He had also worked as a Board Member, Vice Chair of Internet Governance Committee in Interent Society, Nepal. He’s also Nepal IGF MSG Member. Mr. Khadka is active in the board of International community as digitALLearning, UK|Europe, United Network Board and is a member of reputed organization as BCS.

Topic Description: Community and contribution are two main pillars of WordPress. Being open-source free software, WordPress is fully handled, managed, developed, and updated by a community of volunteers who contribute to various aspects of its development. From the first public version of WordPress—0.70 to the latest version—6.0.1, it has made great strides to become the #1 website platform today. Most remarkably, it’s all done with the contribution of a diverse community of talented people around the world. So, is the work already done? No, it’s not done yet. It’ll go much further if we continue contributing.  The panel will discuss on various aspects of the WordPress community, contributions, and ways forward.
