WordCamp Kathmandu 2026 is happening on September 18–19, 2026 at Alice Receptions, Gairidhara, Kathmandu, and we’re looking for passionate volunteers to help create an exceptional experience for hundreds of attendees, speakers, sponsors, and contributors.
WordCamp is more than a conference. It is a celebration of open source, collaboration, learning, and community. Behind every successful WordCamp is a dedicated team of volunteers who make everything possible—from welcoming attendees at the door to supporting speakers on stage and keeping the event running smoothly.

What Happens After You Apply?
Once applications close, the organising team will review every application and match volunteers to roles based on experience, interests, availability, and event requirements.
If selected, you’ll receive:
- Your volunteer role and schedule
- Volunteer handbook and responsibilities
- Orientation session details
- Event information and communication channels
Before the event, all volunteers will attend a briefing session to ensure everyone feels prepared and confident for the big day.
